Uprawnienia administratora windows 7 home
Last edited: Dec 1, Okay, when I first switch on my machine I see the Administrator account next to my own with guest account turned off, in to which I can log in without password. I am unable to delete this account. I have removed the second standard user account I created to avoid further complications.
The ASP. NET is a machine account. Neither of these accounts have been created by me and the machine account appeared after a Windows Update. All I want is to have Administrator privileges on my own account to run programs I want to use and not have any restrictions.
I am marked as admin in account settings yet when using cmd net user the admin relates to another account entirely, it did relate to the standard user account I created hence the deletion. What is the point of using a platform, that you have purchased legitimately, if you cannot have the privileges that go with it? If you can help me get Administrator privileges I would appreciate your help, it is the only thing I want. The restricted privilege issue is new and began only around 2 weeks ago DaveBurnett Account Closed.
Joined Nov 11, Messages 12, There is very good and valid reason for security such as this and it applies to Linux as well as Windows. There is a special privilege account in Linux that is called root; the equivalent in Windows is the Administrator account and the settings ARE different to those that you get when you use a normal account as Administrator.
You cannot delete the default administrator account. Machine accounts are created for internal maintenance purposes and no user can do anything with them. Up until 2 weeks ago this issue did not affect me, has this something to do with a Windows update?
Is there anyone who can give me the idiot proof means of doing this or am I locked out now for good? I also have loads of logins from event viewer listed as special login these are attributed to Microsoft Windows Secuirty Auditing. Last edited: Dec 2, I think you need one of the security experts on here to answer that one. You change your account settings, if you have the authority. Accounts that have never shown before are suddenly there at log in.
Never before has Administrator shown as an independent account. I am the only user of my system and I am barred from running games I have played for years. This must be down to a Windows update or something that Windows has changed. Maybe this is deliberate to get me to move to Win10?? No Windows Update has ever turned on the built-in "Administrator" account for you.
If you did not do it, then someone is hacking your machine. Go to Event Viewer, Security logs, filter for And scroll down and note those ones where "Account Name" is "Administrator". See the times of the login. If you didnt logon into the "Administrator" account at that time, then someone else did.
Try to login into the "Administrator" account from the login screen, and see if there is a password set for the account. By default, the "Adminstrator" account has no password. If you cannot get in, then a password has been set by someone, and is a definite sign that you have been hacked.
For your game, right click on the exe, and choose Compatability tab Check mark the box that says run as administrator. You might also want to set compatability to an older version of Windows.. Have visited Microsoft forum asking the same question and have not had a reply I can work from. The game worked on my system until 2 weeks before my post as it did with others. It was not me and even after a full reinstal of my Windows 7 home premium the problem now remains.
Never before have I had the problem of Administrator privilege issues and the appearance of the Administrator account at log in is something that did not happen before. I have been advised by a software professional to completely format my hard drive, I believe through DOS and reinstal my Windows 7 Home Premium again, turning off the automatic windows update.
I have been told to instal my Internet Security Software before connecting to the internet also. I have been told to only choose Windows updates that I know and understand and that I should look up what each update is designed to do. I am also told to set up a back up point every 24 hours for recovery. I am going to do this and will post my results, my game isn't the only one being affected by a lack of Administrator privileges.
I formatted the partition on my system using the Win 7 installation disc, using advanced setting. I have completely reinstalled my Windows 7 Home Premium. I have turned off the automatic Windows Updates. I installed my security software then activated Internet connection. I then installed all drivers from disc. I have manually installed Directx. I have installed browsers and set homepages. I have still kept off automatic Windows Updates. I have installed again all game programs that previously were denied me due to no Administrator privileges.
Everything works, I have no Administrator privilege warning. There is no Administrator account on log in. I can run my system with full Administrator Privilege and play the games I choose to play.
Everything I have done is manually done. Joined May 24, Messages 15, As Seen On. Welcome to Tech Support Guy! Hi Allan, The " To use your password reset disk to reset your password " didn't help us because we do not have a password reset disk.
We tried my USB flash drive but didn't work. What's our next step? However, I've not tried it, as I had a password reset disk already. But some ways to get you going if it works for you. Hello everyone, thank you for all your posts.
Just to inform you that my cousin already remembered her new password and its now working. I will bookmark all your links for future references. Again, thank you very much!
