Windows update running forever

Thanks, submitted a report via that link. Btw, that Fix it software was another disappointment, apparentyl it doesn't work for Windows Server R2. Has anyone addressed this issue? I am currently having issues on a Windows R2 Server.

I have even tried to download and install the updates from MS update catalog and the update spins - never completes - just says "Searching for updates I really don't think it will ever update. However, this stale information is all I can find or versions of the same.
